Gloucester Female Charitable Association trust funds, 1836-1961.

Seven account notebooks (1836-1932) include treasurer's records of disbursements, lists of annual assessments received, and list of members; six volumes (1842-1961) recording annual and weekly meeting minutes and reports, treasurers' reports, constitution, members' lists, and lists of donations, donors, and gifts to needy; one volume (1887-1896) of disbursements with name of recipient, amount, and use; and by-laws (1896, 1909, and 1923). Monies collected at "kettle drum" fund raiser were to be administered by committee representing churches.
